DEOs to inspect the civil works under RMSA
Education Deptt. releases revised EDUSAT regular programme

Chandigarh, October 7: The Education Department has released the revised regular EDUSAT programme for class 8th to class 12th during the month of October, 2013, which would come into force from October 16, 2013.
Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Punjab Government said that the EDUSAT programme would remain same as per the previous scheduled to October 15 i.e. 8:15 am to 2:00 pm while the revised proramme would i.e. October 16 to onwards would be telecast from 9:20 am to 3:15 pm.
The spokesman further said that all District Education Officers of the state would inspect the civil works being carried out in the schools under the Rashtriya Madhmik Shiksha Abhiyan. He also said that the works of up gradation of schools (from middle to high) was under construction at several schools in Punjab. He also said that the construction of science labs, libraries and art and craft rooms were going on construction in many schools under the National Secondary Education Mission Authority. Though the works are also being monitored by the junior Engineers and SDOs of the respective agencies, the D.E.Os would also inspect the civil work during their inspection at respective schools.
