Shortage of teachers in border schools of Punjab

Many government schools in the border districts of Ferozepur and Fazilka are either running without teachers or have fewer educators than the sanctioned posts, and in some
cases, local volunteers are teaching the children for a paltry amount paid by the parents.Also these schools are battling with inadequate infrastructure and lack of basic amenities, revealed a random visit to government-run educational institutions located on the India-Pakistan border.

Education department punjab increased morning assembly time by 10 minutes in all govt school

The morning assembly time has been increased from 20 minutes to 30 minutes to facilitate the day's work.  Director S.E.R.T.  Punjab has sent a letter to all the district education officers  stating that the morning assembly should be held from 8.00am to 8.30am.  According to the released timetable, the seventh and eighth periods are cut by 5-5 minutes and the rest of the period will be 40 minutes each.

CHENNAI : Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami will launch the State government’s new television channel,  ‘Kalvi Tholaikkaatchi’ (Education TV), on August 26.The channel, targeted at school students, will mostly have educative shows for children.Programmes will be telecast from 6am to 9.30pm. The channel will broadcast NEET and other classes, interviews of School Education Minister, shows on schemes provided by School Education Department, segments on Thirukkural and other literary content.

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab education department has urged the Union ministry of human resource development (HRD) to give “another chance” to over 13,000 of its untrained primary government schoolteachers who did not enroll in a mandatory six-month bridge course.

Bihar have the worst pupil-teacher ratio followed by Delhi :HRD

Schools in Bihar have the fewest teachers per student with a pupil-teacher ratio (PTR) of 38, followed by Delhi at 35, while Sikkim has the best student-teacher ratio at four, according to HRD Ministry officials.
