8% DA for UT employees

The UT Administration today released 8 per cent of dearness allowance (DA) to its employees.
The Administration has enhanced the rate of DA payable to all employees working in Chandigarh,
including those on deputation from the other states, in anticipation of orders from the Punjab Government from the existing rate of 72 per cent to 80 per cent with effect from January 1, 2013. — TNS
