Gurdaspur offices, schools, colleges to remain closed on Tuesday

Gurdaspur, September 9
Government offices, schools and colleges will remain closed in Gurdaspur on Tuesday as a mark of protest against MLA Simarjit Bains.
Gurdaspur ADC (General) passed a resolution to this effect.
The police had booked Lok Insaf Party (LIP) chief Bains under the IPC following the legislator’s altercation with Gurdaspur Deputy Commissioner Vipul Ujwal on Thursday.Anger within the Punjab IAS Officers’ Association was discernible since a clip showing the MLA using abusive language against the DC went viral.
