CBSE Expression Series to start on Dec 24 online

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Expression Series on 'Education for Future Development' will start on December 24 online as per a circular released by the board recently.
The board further says that as most of schools are closed on the eve of Christmas or for winter vacations, thus willing students can submit their entries from home either using online mode or through mobile phones.


The circular states that interested students of schools affiliated to the board could volunteer to participate. Age-appropriate topics will be provided on CBSE academic website on December 23. The series is open to three categories: classes 1-5, classes 6-8, classes 9-12.

Entries in the form of essays /poems/ anecdotes in 22 scheduled languages and English may be submitted on December 24 (from 9 am to 5pm).

36 best entries in each category will be rewarded with a cash prize of `2,000 and a certificate of merit only after plagiarism check and a telephonic interaction on the phone. All participants with valid email IDs will be given online participation certificates.
