Sukhpal Khaira, PPCC spokesman, has demanded scrapping of the test held for the selection of 461 food supply inspectors. Addressing a press conference here today, Khaira said bypassing the PPSC, the Food and Civil Supplies Department had entrusted the recruitment process to Panjab University.
As many as 1.93 lakh unemployed youth had applied by paying a “hefty” application fee, he said.
“A large number of candidates could not appear due to mismanagement on part of the government,” he alleged.
