Ludhiana: The ETT Teachers Union Punjab is going to organise a State Level Protest Really against the Punjab Government at Aatam Park, in front of Preet Palace near Bus Stand, Ludhiana on December 1.
More than 13,000 teachers, who are suffering from the anti-education policy of Akali-BJP led government will gather at venue on 12.30 pm and staged a rally.
“We are opposing the system adopted by government to give the schools to non-educational departments such as Zilla Parishad. We want cancellation of Zilla Parishad Directorate, formed by government and merger of schools in Education department of Punjab, which are being run under the Zilla Parishads”, said a spokesman of the union.
