SSA, RMSA employees continue pen-down strike after talks with the Chief Minister at Anandpur Sahib failed

The SSA, RMSA Non-Teaching Employees Union today continued their pen-down strike after talks with the Chief Minister at Anandpur Sahib failed today. Union members said the office of Director General of School Education (DGSE) had issued letters threatening the employees on agitation to join back or face the music.

President Pradeep Bansal and general secretary Sher Singh Dhillon said as the entire staff of SSA and RMSA at DGSE office at Mohali had gone on the pen-down strike, major projects have come to a standstill. The works of annual audit and survey for annual planning are now left in mid-way.

Union members said a meeting of the state body with Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal at Anandpur Sahib too remained inconclusive today following which the union had decided to intensify its agitation.
