Punjab govt to recruit more teachers-Maluka

Khanna, November 20
The Punjab Government is all set to recruit more teachers to fill vacant posts in the government schools in the state to provide better education. This was stated by education minister Punjab, Sikander Singh Maluka at DPS, Khanna.

He said a few months ago they had recruited about 5,000 teachers and will recruit about 9,000 more teachers in the coming 3-4 months.



He confessed that private schools were speedy in modernisation of the education while in government schools the files took time as it passes through several hands. But the government is trying to give better facilities in these schools so that they can compete with private schools, the education minister said. — OC
