Ferozepur, November 1: Today, as per the call of the Punjab State Body, the Class IV Govt. Employees Union staged protest in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, head by Kala Singh District President, Ram Awtar, District General Secretary, Samar Bahadur Chairman, which was attended hundreds of employees.
Giving this information, Kala Singh District President said, “The demands of the union include, early announcement of 6th Pay Commissioner, regularization of temporary employees, ending of contract system, release of full DA installment instead of partial, pension as per the previous practices to the employees joined on January 1, 2004, recruitment of regular staff, filling up of vacant posts”.
Ram Awtar, District Secretary speaking to the protesters demanded from the government said, “The government should have dialogue attitude with the state body to solve the demands at the earliest otherwise the agitation will be intensified”.
