New Delhi, October 22, 2103: University Grants Commission has invited online applications for the award of Post-Graduate Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holders for the academic session 2013-15. Candidates admitted in post-graduate first year regular non-professional degree course in any
recognized university or a post-graduate college during the current year 2013-14 are eligible. Selection will be made by an Expert Committee on the basis of applications which are complete in all respects, received through online mode within the stipulated time frame. The guidelines of the scheme, detailed terms and conditions of the scholarship, eligibility criteria etc. is availale on UGC website i.e. www.ugc.ac.in The applications must be submitted only through online mode latest by 22nd November, 2013 by logging in website www.ugc.ac.in/urh The decision of the Commission with regard to selection of candidates for the award of scholarship shall be final. The scholarship has been announced with the purpose of supporting post-graduation education through scholarships to such students, who have secured first and second positions at undergraduate level in any recognized University / Autonomous College / Non-University affiliated Institute.
