It appreciated the efforts of the UT Education Department over constructions of new schools, classrooms, toilets and appointments of over 800 JBTs and TGTs in 2012 and 2013. At the same time, concerns were raised over crowded classrooms, disproportional teacher-pupil ratio in several periphery pockets of the city. The issue of regularisation of the SSA teachers was also discussed.
