Maluka assures due consideration towards AIE Teacher’s demands

Chandigarh, October 29: Punjab Education Minister Sikander Singh Maluka today assured the representatives of the Alternative Innovative Education Teachers Union ( A I E, Punjab) that the state government would give due consideration to all of their legitimate demands.
Assurance to this regard was given by Maluka to a delegation of the Union, who called on the Minister. The delegation of
associations apprised the Minister about the problems being faced and sought the immediate resolution of their demands. After listening to their demands, Maluka assured to the Union that due consideration would be given to their all of their genuine demands adding that he was fully aware of the problems of the teachers of the state and no stone would be left unturned to solve them.
The Minister further said the Punjab government is fully committed to provide the quality education in the state. The Government was ready to spend liberally improving the infrastructure and fill up the vacant posts of the teachers in the Government schools of the state.
Prominent amongst other who were present in the meeting Mrs. Anjali Bhawra, Principal Secretary School Education, Mr. Kumar Rahul, Director General School, Mrs. Darshan Kaur, Director, Public Instructions (elementary) and representatives of the teacher Unions.
