Punjab Government gives one year extension in service to its employees
Chandigarh, September 21: Punjab Government has extended one more year i.e. November 1, 2013 in the service of Punjab Government employees.
Disclosing this here today the spokesman of the Punjab Government said that Punjab Government has issued the order
in this regard. Besides the government has also extended one year in maximum age for eligibility to government service as per the notification with effect from November 1, 2013 the government has extended one year service in respect of Class-I, Class-II, Class-III and Class IV employees. Spokesman further said that this extension would be effective in the case of those employees who would be eligible for service one more year as on October 31, 2013.
He further said for this purpose the government has called the options from the concerned employee in the prescribed performa and option once given would be considered final. He also clarified that instruction would be effective from November 1, 2013.
