Counseling for recruitment of 5178 teachers in Punjab from Sept 23

CHANDIGARH: Education department Punjab has issued the schedule of counseling for recruitment of 5178 rural association teachers.
Disclosing this here today Kamal Garg Director Public Instructions (DPI) said that the counseling would be held from September 23 to October 17, 2013 at senior secondary school 3B1 Ajitgarh during 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. Only those candidates who have passed teacher eligibility test (TET) would be considered for these posts.
Giving details of the subject wise schedule, he said in the first phase the counseling of eligible candidates for the post of social studies would be held on 23-09-2013 to 30-09-2013. Likewise for the post of Punjabi October 1 to 7, Agriculture and Sanskrit on October 8, English on October 10 & 11, Mathematics on October 14, Science October 15 and the counseling for the remaining subjects would be held on October 17, 2013.
He further said that the process for the recruitment of 5178 teachers has already been started.
